Å koda Octavia. Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020) Stop Start issues. that's still an expensive way of doing it. Even the key head (front part) costs a small fortune from the dealers. You can buy a full new, uncut & unprogrammed flip remote for £40.
Although, there is one puzzle! Every time I turn the ignition off after driving the car, the message "check deadlock, check owners manual". The key never needs to leave your pocket. It still has the buttons to use as a regular key fob, if you so wish, but why? To unlock: Walk to car, reach for handle, open door - cannot get more simple than that and even if you unlock with fob, you still have to physically open the door, no? To start: Key is in pocket, just tap the "Start" button
