One of the best places in Canggu to do just that is at Alternative Beach Club. This place is really relaxed, the water of the pool is vibrantly blue, there’s a swim-up bar, a slide, a swing, an area to jump off of the second floor into the pool, lounge chairs, a sandy area, delicious cocktails and good food.Hi. Berawa – the coolest area to stay in Canggu. Berawa is just 3 km (1 mile) south of Canggu and is where you will find numerous cool cafes, fancy restaurants, and live clubs. Berawa Beach is super close to another trendy and luxurious place in Bali – Seminyak and so it took a bit of vibe from its bigger brother.
As mentioned, Canggu has got a much younger crowd and is the wilder sister of Seminyak. Seminyak overall has a bit more of a glam vibe about it. That might be because the surf culture is deeply ingrained in Canggu, which seems to attract a somewhat younger and ‘chilled’ type of people. And thus both attract their own specific crowds.
Only a 45-minute drive away from the airport, you will find the chilled coastal towns Canggu and Seminyak. Vegan cafés, scooter with surfboards and beach vibes are typical for this area. We highly recommend to skip Denpasar and Kuta and to go directly to Seminyak and Canggu to experience the real Bali vibes.
