And how wrong I was, as 8½ utterly floored me. It may just be the greatest movie I have ever seen. But now I'm stuck, as I have heard that his other movies are very different. I'm convinced a filmmaker this genius must have other works I'd also love, but I'm aware a few of his other movies are similar to La Notte in that sense. .
